Client is doing research on Communication Enabled Applications (CEAs). Client is looking for feedback from individuals who have developed or sold a CEA for more than two years.

Communication enablement refers to: (i) information technology (IT) applications that have a communication component (e.g., webpage that has the functionality for a potential customer to initiate a phone conversation with another person); and (ii) Communication applications that have IT components (e.g., a mobile phone application that provides restaurant recommendations based on current location).

The objective of the research is to define the customer value of Communication Enabled Applications (CEA) by examining suppliers’ offers. Clien is asking for help in completing the first deliverable of my research: the identification of CEA mashup types based on API categories.
